Milton Keynes Breakers face local rivals Hemel Storm this Saturday with a place in the NBL1 Playoff Final in Manchester up for grabs. Tip-Off is scheduled for 7pm.
The Breakers will make the trip to Hemel for their Semi-Final match up after both sides avoided elimination last weekend. The Breakers ran out 71-68 winners in their gritty matchup against Loughborough Riders, with the Storm overcoming Bristol Hurricanes 95-78.
Kai Walker and Chris Tawiah both achieved double-doubles, with Walker recording 16 points and 14 rebounds, whilst Tawiah had 17 points and 10 rebounds in the narrow victory.
Tra’ Michael Moton led the scoring for the Storm with 23 points, with Matt Ellis netting 18 and both Darien Nelson-Henry and Brayden Inger also netting double digits.
The two sides have faced four times already this season, with Hemel leading the series 3-1, but the Breakers will be encouraged after their high-level performances against the Number 1 seed in the division.
