MK Breakers welcome London Cavaliers to Bletchley Leisure Centre this Saturday before heading north on Sunday to take on Derby Trailblazers.
The Breakers are looking to bounce back after they suffered defeat at the hands of the London Cavaliers last weekend. It was the Breakers free throw woes that ultimately cost them defeat as they fell to a 93-90 defeat against the Cavaliers. Nate Robinson’s 19 points was backed up by Adrian Sacborough hitting 18 points, KJ Johnson scoring 17 and Chris Tawiah netting 11. Ultimately, the Breakers would fall to a 5-5 record as both AJ Roberts and Justin Robinson’s 19-points led the Cavaliers to victory.
Ed Lucas, who netted 16 points last weekend, places him inside the top 10 for scoring in NBL 1 and will no doubt be looking to climb the rankings with another strong performance this weekend. Breakers will also have to keep an eye on the aforementioned Justin Robinson who is shooting 41.8% from the three point mark.
On Sunday, the team head north to take on 3rd placed Derby Trailblazers for the second time this season. The Breakers defeated the Trailblazers 75-67 back in early December. The Midlands side will pose another tough test, and have bolstered their squad in recent weeks with Scottish international Point Guard Kyle Jimenez.
The Breakers will be looking for revenge on Saturday as they go in search of their first victory of 2025 and you can back the boys at Bletchley Leisure Centre from 5pm. Tickets available HERE.
