The MK Breakers have signed experienced 6’4” guard Leon Henry.

A proven scorer in the NBL, Henry joins the Breakers from NBL Division 2 side Leicester Warriors where he played last season, averaging 20.1 points per game, the 7th best scoring average in the league.

Henry, who hails from Northampton has also represented NBL sides Hemel Storm, Solent Kestrels and Northamptonshire Titans. The sharp-shooting guard will add depth to Coach Beddow’s back court with his perimeter shooting and defense.

Henry is excited to join the Breakers this season, “I’m truly honoured to be a part of Breaker nation. The culture is second to none and I can’t wait to get the season underway and put on a show for all the great fans that I have heard so much about.

Head Coach Billy Beddow is excited to add Henry to the roster, “Leon is a great addition to the team for the upcoming season. He has been training with us this off season and is already having a great impact on the team. He’s working incredibly hard this summer and I’m excited to see him perform come September.

Henry becomes seventh signing for the 2023/24 season, joining returners Luke Gregory, Jordan Spencer, Dante Langley, Mike New Jr, Blayne Freckleton and fellow new recruit Andre Arissol. There will be more signings in the coming weeks with some familiar faces as well as some exciting new additions.
