Having already been named CBL League and Finals MVP, our very own Kalvin Oates has now been selected to take part in The Hoopsfix All Star Classic.

The Milton Keynes native was a key figure as the MK5D Breakers Academy won the National championship back in March, while also earning regular minutes in the BCB with Breakers Men.

Now, his magnificent season has been rewarded with a place at the Hoopsfix event, where for over a decade, the top prospects in the country have gone head-to-head in a prestigious all-star game.

He joins illustrious prospects like Jeremy Sochan, Holly Winterburn and Quinn Ellis, the Classic’s alumni reading like a who’s who of British talent, and becomes only the third MK Breaker after William Issekya and Buai Luak to be given the opportunity to showcase his talent on this stage.

Kalvin will also take part in the three-point contest, with the day promising to be one he’ll remember for a long time to come.

We would like to see as many Breakers fans as possible get down to Crystal Palace National Sports Centre and cheer him on, with the event taking place on Sunday, May 24.

Tickets are available here, and everyone at the club would like to congratulate Kalvin on this richly deserved honour.
