Milton Keynes Breakers are delighted to announce that Jordan Spencer will once again be representing the club in the 2026/27 British Championship Basketball season.
Our Captain has agreed a new contract that extends his stay with us, and allows Jordan to continue representing his hometown club the way he has over recent seasons, delivering silverware and excitement in equal measure.
Part of the team that rose up through the ranks, being a Breaker is a huge source of pride for him and he’s already looking forward to leading a new-look team as the start of the season approaches.
“I’m incredibly happy to be signing back with the Breakers,” Spencer said shortly after agreeing to extend his contract. “I’m extremely passionate about the club and only want to deliver success every time I step out onto the floor.
“I think this season can be a special one and I’m looking forward to seeing our amazing fans back supporting us at Bletchley the way they always have. Cap is Back!”
What will make this season even more special is the reunion Spencer will enjoy with a Head Coach that has seemingly always been part of his basketball journey, and Nigel Lloyd is excited about coaching our All Star point guard once again.
“Jordan is a huge part of what we are building here at MK Breakers, so I’m absolutely delighted that we have been able to re-sign him.” he said.
“He is not only a very talented basketball player, but someone who represents this club exceptionally well. As captain, he has shown great leadership, commitment and character, and he has built a fantastic relationship with our supporters.
From a coaching perspective, having Jordan back is massive. We know what he brings on the court, but equally important is what he brings to the group off it. His experience, leadership and competitive mentality will be invaluable as we continue to develop the team.
We’re building something special at MK Breakers, and keeping players like Jordan, who genuinely care about the club and the community, is a big part of that. I know our supporters will be delighted to see their captain back for another season.”
