Milton Keynes Breakers are back in action this weekend as they host Bradford Dragons on Saturday afternoon. Tip-Off is scheduled for 5pm.

The Breakers returned to winning ways last weekend with a gritty win over Team Newcastle University as they ran out 84-77 winners in the North East. KJ Johnson led the scoring for the Breakers with 20 points, with Nate Robinson picking up Player of the Game accolades with his 19 points.

The win means the Breakers stay fourth in the NBL 1 table, with Essex Rebels chasing their tails sitting on the same points as the Breakers. Bradford Dragons, meanwhile, are fighting to retrain their NBL 1 status. They currently sit 12th in the table, but are within touching distance of the teams in and around them. A win for both sides would go a long way in helping achieve their goals for the season.

Bradford Dragons picked up an important win in their last outing as they overcame Essex Rebels 84-83. Justin Williams led the scoring in that win with 23 points, with Michah Savery-Richards netting himself 20 points and nine rebounds. It was Savery-Richards who won the clash for the Dragons as he came up clutch, converting two efforts from the line in the closing seconds to secure an important win.

The aforementioned Williams currently averages to fourth most points in the division and is also shooting an impressive 83.6% from the line. Savery-Richards finds himself shooting 77.8% from the free throw line, something the Breakers will be eager to avoid giving away this weekend.

With both teams fighting at either end of the table it’s sure to be an entertaining and tense game of Basketball – the Breakers would love your support – you can purchase your tickers HERE!
