The MK Breakers look to get back to winning ways this Saturday as they travel to the southwest to take on a talented Bristol Hurricanes team.

Both teams are coming off losses as Bristol fell 88-78 to Hemel Storm last weekend, whilst the Breakers lost 81-82 to Newcastle Knights, ending a 36-game win streak which dated back to October 7th 2023.

The two sides met in September in the KitKing Trophy group stages where the Breakers came out on top 94-74 at Bletchley Leisure Centre. The Hurricanes this time however, will pose much more of a threat with a string of talented signings in the last few weeks.

The Hurricanes have added former BBL players Elvisi Dusha, Jules Dang-Akodo and Denzel Ubiaro, as well as former Euroleague 6’10” big-man Vilmantas Dilys to bolster their squad.

Breakers Head Coach Billy Beddow-Patel is expecting a tough test, “Bristol have made some strong signings in the last few weeks, and on paper now have one of the strongest teams in the league. We’re expecting a tough battle on Saturday and I’m looking forward to a positive response from our team after a disappointing performance against Newcastle.”

The game will tip off at 5:30pm at UWE Centre for Sport. Tickets are available HERE.
