Milton Keynes Breakers are thrilled to announce the signing of Temi George, a talented 6’4” wing from London, for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

George brings a strong competitive edge and desire to the Breakers. He joins the club having most recently played for Team Newcastle University in NBL Division 1, where he completed his Master’s Degree.

Temi attended Union College in New York, where he made a significant impact in his senior year. He appeared in all 24 games, starting 23 of them, and was a key contributor on both ends of the court.

George ranked third on the team, averaging 9.6 points per game, and led the squad with 138 rebounds. His standout performance came against Bard College, where he recorded a double-double with a season-high 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining the Breakers, George said, “I’m excited to join the Breakers! I’ve kept an eye on them the last couple of seasons, but now being here, I can see why they’ve had a lot of success in the past few years. I’m definitely ready to get to work, and hopefully make some more history.”

Breakers Head Coach Billy Beddow-Patel is excited to add George to the 2024-25 roster, “We are excited to have Temi with us this season! A dynamic guard who already has NBL1 experience. Temi still has his best basketball ahead of him and has been working hard on his game this offseason. He will be a credit to the Breakers both on and off the court!”

Temi George becomes the eighth major signing of the summer for the Milton Keynes Breakers, joining a strong roster of players including Luke Gregory, Nate Robinson, Kai Williams, Blayne Freckleton, Jaguar Jackson, Kai Walker, and Adrian Scarborough. His addition further solidifies the Breakers’ lineup as they prepare for another competitive season in NBL Division 1.

You can catch Temi and the rest of the Breakers team in action on Saturday 7th September as we host last season’s NBL1 runners-up Essex Rebels in a preseason friendly at Bletchley Leisure Centre. Tickets for all September games and season tickets are available HERE.
