MK Breakers continue their playoff campaign this Sunday as they host St Helens Saints in the NBL2 playoff semi-finals at Bletchley Leisure Centre, 5pm tip off.

Last time out, the Breakers defeated Teesside Lions 108-69 in front of a sold-out home crowd, behind Jordan Spencer’s 22 point, 23 rebound, 14 assist triple-double. The visiting Lions kept in touching distance until half-time, but a big third quarter run for the Breakers saw them pull away in the second half to secure the victory over the side from Middlesborough. 

This weekends opponents, St Helens finished second in NBL Division 2 North for the second consecutive season, winning 17 of their 22 league games. They defeated Richmond Knights 81-80 in the quarterfinals and will provide another stern test for the Breakers. The Saints are led by former British Basketball League talents Connor Murtagh and Disraeli Lufadeju who average 23.2 and 15 points per game respectively.

With a place in the NBL2 Playoff final up for grabs, it promises to another exciting evening of basketball at Bletchley Leisure Centre. The NBL2 Playoff Final will take place at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester on Saturday 27th April, 6pm tip off.
