All bar two of our Junior National League Teams were in action over the weekend with a number of impressive performances across the board.

U12 Boys I: MK Breakers 96-16 West Suffolk Wolves Mixed.

An impressive opening game of the season for U12 Boys I, with energy and effort levels staying high throughout the game despite the score difference.

U12 Boys II: MK Breakers 58 – 63 Bedford Thunder 

Despite the U12 Boys II being made up mostly of U11s and U10s, the Breakers pushed their opposition right to the end of the fourth quarter. It would be Bedford Thunder who would come out on top, but the young Breakers team fought hard and can be proud of their efforts.

U12 Girls: MK Breakers 146 – 14 Kent Crusaders

The U12 Girls started their campaign with a strong all round performance, with the Girls demonstrating the hard work they have put in during the off season.

U14 Boys II: MK Breakers 86 – 41 North Hert Knights

A strong opening showing from the U14 Boys II as they demonstrated high-level scoring and top defence work.

U14 Girls I: MK Breakers 104 – 24 Ipswich 

The U14 Girls were competitive throughout and showed intensity and drive despite the difference in score. Their offensive skillset was on show for all to see, with some impressive shooting from behind the arc.

U16 Boys I: MK Breakers 77 – 66 Newcastle Eagles

It was the MK Breakers debut in the U16 Premier Competition, and they displayed a really positive team performance throughout. The Breakers high quality shooting saw theme extend their lead to 15 points at the end of the third. The Eagles, however, rallied in the fourth, but the Breakers resolute defence ensured the 10 point win.

U16 Boys II: MK Breakers 60 – 55 Bedford Thunder

The Breakers got off to a slow start and were struggling to get stops and were struggling to get to grips offensively with Thunder’s zone defence. The Breakers, however, worked out how to break down Bedford and would trail by just three points at the break. Their scoring in the second half allowed them to pull away and pick up their first win of the season

U16 Girls I: MK Breakers 116 – Newcastle Eagles 48.

Despite the long journey, the Breakers were quick out of the blocks as they led 30-9 at the end of the first quarter. The Breakers speed and physicality ensured they kept on the front foot to return to Milton Keynes with the win.

U18 Men I: MK Breakers 73 – 55 Bristol Flyers

In what was an entertaining clash against a well coaches Bristol Flyers, it was MK Breakers who came out on top with a strong united performance.

U18 Men II: MK Breakers 75 – 53 Leadonites Basketball

Breakers had just seven minutes to warm up due to arriving late following traffic on the way to the game. It was a real hurdle to overcome and despite their slow start to the encounter, Breakers would run out winners.
