It’s a huge weekend of action in NBL Division 1 as the top eight teams all face each other in a weekend that could really shape up how the division looks. It’s a trip to Loughborough Riders for the Breakers – with Tip-Off scheduled for 6pm this Saturday.

The Breakers will go in search of a fifth successive win, but will be up against one of the strongest sides in the division, with the Riders currently sitting in third place. The two sides have already faced off this season in the KitKing Trophy group stages as the Breakers ran out 80-77 in what was one of the games of the season.

Justin Hedley led the scoring that day for Loughborough with an impressive 34-points, he has continued that form throughout the season and is currently averaging 16.9 points per game. It’s Victor Ndoukou, however, who has been the top scorer for the Riders, he’s netting an average of 19.6 points per game and is leading the division in Efficiency with 386.

Adrian Scarborough and KJ Johnson both appear in the Top 10 for Efficiency in NBL Division 1, with KJ Johnson placing in the top four for points per game with 19.8. His fellow American Scarborough is currently second in the division for rebounds per game with 10.8.

Elsewhere for the Breakers Nate Robinson (16.9) and Chris Tawiah (10.6) are both in the double digits for average points in what has been a collective effort for the Breakers this season.

A win for the Breakers would see them leapfrog Loughborough and take third place in the division. The Breakers were boosted last week with the return of Jordan Spencer who helped Billy Beddow-Patel’s side deliver Reading Rockets second home defeat of the campaign.

With two of the top sides in the division going head-to-head, it’s without doubt going to be another entertaining game of Basketball – one that you can still grab tickets to watch HERE!
