WHAT IS THE GIBBS HARDSHIP FUND

The Gibbs Hardship Fund is a fund to offer children from low income families in and around Milton Keynes the opportunity to become a part of the MK Breakers Basketball community by providing financial support for regular basketball training, games and other associated costs.

WHO ARE THE MK BREAKERS?

Founded in September 2017, the Milton Keynes Basketball Foundation was set up with a clear Mission Statement, to offer local boys and girls the opportunity to play basketball at both community and elite levels and to make Milton Keynes a major basketball destination in the UK.

As the Milton Keynes Basketball Club, we have grown from 40 boys and girls playing in one small gym to today offering community basketball to over 1000 boys and girls, training and playing out of 6 local basketball centres.

You can find out more about the club on our About Page

You can see our available sessions on our Basketball Sessions Page.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE FUND?

The Gibbs Hardship Fund is available for Children aged 4-16 who live in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Children should be eligible for means tested Free School Meals, and be able to evidence this in order to apply for the Fund.

We will however look at each individual on a case by case basis. Children aged 17-19 will also be assessed on a case by case basis.
