Milton Keynes Breakers begin their NBL 1 Playoff campaign this weekend as they welcome Loughborough Riders to Bletchley Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoon. Tip-Off is scheduled for 5pm.

Breakers Women are also in playoff action at Bletchley earlier that day. They take on Solent Kestrels in the semi-final at 1:15pm (free entry).

The Breakers closed out the season with wins over Essex Rebels and Loughborough Riders to secure a fourth place finish in their debut season in NBL 1. The Riders, meanwhile, improved on their sixth place last year to secure fifth place with a final day win over Newcastle Knights securing that position.

The two sides recently faced off with Adrian Scarborough’s 28 points and eight rebounds guiding the Breakers to a 89-81 win in Milton Keynes. It was once again Victor Ndoukou who caused the Breakers a number of problems as he scored 22 points during his side’s defeat.

It’s Ndoukou who leads the scoring for the Riders, he’s netted an average of 20 points per game this season and leads the league in free throw percentage with an impressive 85.9% from the line. Ndoukou is also averaging 8.1 rebounds per game, all of which has seen him total a 520 Efficiency score.

Michal Joiner (16.9) and Justin Hedley (15.5) complete a dangerous scoring trio for the Riders who will be looking to get their first win over the Breakers this season at the fourth time of asking.

Tickets are few and far between so make sure you book yours now to avoid disappointment. The Riders will of course pose a dangerous threat to the Breakers hopes of winning the Play-Offs, so we will once again need our home fans to be on top form and push the boys through to the next round.
