Milton Keynes Breakers are proud to announce the signing of Jaguar Jackson, an explosive 6’1” British-American combo guard from Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Jackson brings a dynamic skill set to the Breakers, following an impressive stint with the Leicester Warriors in NBL Division 2 North, where he averaged 20.5 points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals per game across 32 matches.
Jackson, who played collegiate basketball at Concord University for the Mountain Lions, is eager to make his mark in NBL Division 1 with the Breakers. His scoring ability, versatility, and defensive prowess make him a formidable addition to the Breakers’ roster as they gear up for another competitive season.
“I’m very excited to join the Breakers and I can’t wait to get to work with the rest of the team,” Jackson shared.
“I’ve been watching the Club from afar and have seen the progression as the guys won promotion into NBL Division 1 and won the National Cup. I’m a combo guard who can run the 1 and 2, I can shoot, attack, and make plays.
“The biggest thing that led me to joining the Breakers was the atmosphere at the games and how well Josh has treated me – he’s shown me love leading up to me signing and that has continued after.”
Head Coach Billy Beddow expressed his enthusiasm for the new signing, stating, “I am super excited to have Jaguar on board! He’s proven himself in NBL2 and we are excited to support him in taking the next step in his playing career. He is an explosive guard and gritty defender who will be a favourite at Bletchley!”
Jaguar Jackson becomes the fifth signing of the summer for the Breakers, joining Luke Gregory, Nate Robinson, Kai Williams, and Blayne Freckleton. His addition further strengthens the Breakers as they prepare to compete in NBL Division 1.
The Breakers are first in action Saturday 7th September when they host Essex Rebels in a preseason friendly. Tickets for all September home games and Season Tickets are available HERE.
