Box Score
MK Breakers: 117 (27, 61, 92, 117)
Greenwich Titans: 72 (20, 31, 51, 72)
Milton Keynes Breakers concluded their regular season home fixtures on Saturday afternoon as they overcame Greenwich Titans 117-72 in an entertaining affair at Bletchley Leisure Centre.
The win over The Titans means the Breakers make the trip down to Solent this weekend with their destiny in their own hands. Although the NBL Division 2 table favours Team Solent Kestrels if MK Breakers can win by more than seven points they will earn promotion for the second time in as many seasons.
The Breakers were slow to start to win over Greenwich, who were just seven points behind the hosts after the opening quarter, but the Breakers slowly pulled away and at the half led by 30 points. The Breakers then pushed on after the break to pick up an impressive win.
Dante Langley led the scoring with 30 points, with Nate Robinson following closely behind on 27 points. Jordan Spencer scored himself 19 points and coupled his performance with a ridiculous 18 assists. Chris Tawiah and Will Issekya both hit double digits with 10 points each.
Attention now turns to the final regular season game for MK Breakers as they travel to the South Coast this weekend for a mouthwatering clash with Team Solent Kestrels. The table toppers narrowly overcame MK Breakers 87-80 earlier in the season and have the advantage heading into the weekend.
Unfortunately a very limited number of tickers were made available to MK Breakers fans, however, you can still watch the deciding game of the season. MK Sports Bar & Lounge are hosting a watch party for the Breakers fans who are unable to attend. Admission is FREE and Children are welcome. More information can be found on our Twitter Page.
