Milton Keynes Breakers are in double-header action this weekend as they face Greenwich Titans and Endeavour Ipswich Basketball in consecutive days.
The Breakers enter the weekend having put on a show in their last outing against Cardiff Met Archers. The Breakers scored a ridiculous 17 three-pointers, with Captain Jordan Spencer scoring nine of his own on the way to his 40-point performance.
10 different players scored baskets in that victory, five of which hit double figures in the win. Spencer led the scoring with Nate Robinson (19), Dante Langley (15), Leon Henry (13) and Chris Tawiah (10) the other Breakers’ players to hit the landmark.
Their offensive success has meant their strong defensive performance has been overlooked. The Breakers limited Cardiff to just 11 points in the final quarter – with just 13 being scored in the third. Billy Beddow will be calling upon his strength-in-depth and ability at both ends of the courts as the Breakers look to navigate a tricky weekend of NBL Division 2 action.
